Make sure to stop in regularly since I will be having a few more giveaways befor christmas.
Thanks for the great giveaway. I love everything about quilting and it has taught me to be more expressive of myself through my own designs.
ReplyDeleteI have learned that perfection isn't necessary to create something lovely and loved. Thanks for the opportunity to win a new pattern! The reason you aren't getting much traffic is because the link from Quilting Gallery to your blog is broken. You might mention it to them. I just re-typed your blog name and got here!
ReplyDeleteI love your pattern - thanks for the chance!! I think the most important thing in quilting is to just have fun. I fretted so much in the beginning...not I just try my best and do what I want. Oh, and press, press, press!! Lastly, yes, Farm Quilter is right...the link is broken on the Quilting Gallery site. Hope you can get it fixed!
ReplyDeleteThe most important thing I've learned about quilting is that other people always think the quilt you made is prettier than you do. I make quilts for people to use.
ReplyDeletep.s. the gallery link has .ccom in the url, so I just removed that extra c and your post popped right up.
ok thanks for the heads up about the link i will definitly try to get that fixed. and those are great ideas.something i learned from quilting is that things arent usualy as hard as they first look.
ReplyDeleteI've learned to do what pleases me and that makes me happy! Love your pattern. Thanks
ReplyDeleteI've learned that it ALL looks good and we are our own worst critics.

I have learned that quilting is a addiction, and I am so addicted
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win! I love every part of quilting and am still learning lots!
ReplyDeleteMeasure twice cut once! I made that mistake a couple times. Important to measure!
ReplyDeleteThe most important thing I have learned while quilting is that if you join a quilt group , club or blog you can meet some wonderful people that are such inspirations with ideas and helpfulness.
ReplyDeleteQuilters are special. Thank you for this opportunity !
thanks for the chance to win, I found that the 1/4 inch foot is my best friend :)
ReplyDeleteThe most important thing I've learned is to be precise and careful - and that my idea of a quarter of an inch wasn't anywhere near accurate lol
ReplyDeleteI am your new GFC follower, number 4 is my favorite, hope this gives me the fortune to win your pattern =)
ReplyDeleteI learned to be calm and always measure twice
Accuracy is important and above all have fun!
ReplyDeleteI have learned that you really only need to please yourself. Thanks for participating in the blog hop.
ReplyDeleteI learned to cut more than once as the little slivers taken off do add up to accuracy! awolk at rogers dot com
ReplyDeleteThe most important thing I have learned...that there are no rules--except to have really good 1/4" seams. Otherwise, break all the rules...
ReplyDeleteGive a little patience and you will be well rewarded.
ReplyDeleteThe most important thing I've learned is to enjoy the entire process of quilting! Don't rush myself trying to just get finished - instead I should savor every moment!
ReplyDeleteThe most important thing(s) I've learned is, you can't guesstimate a quarter inch, and the iron is not my enemy as I once thought before I started this brand new addiction of quilting!
ReplyDeleteI think it is taking my time to be percise. If I hurray or rush, my seams do not match or they don't measure up. Thanks for the opportunity to enter your give-away. From northern Iowa . . . .
ReplyDeleteI've learned to trust my instincts when it comes to color selection. Even if no one else is picking the same colors or fabric patterns you are. Thinking outside the box is a good thing, and being different is never bad. Have fun with it and if you don't like the finished project, you can still be proud of the work you've done. Give it away as a gift and let someone else treasure it.
ReplyDeleteI have learned to relax and use pins when I quilt!
ReplyDeleteBarb@Witsend
don't have to be perfect

To have fun with many different fabrics!!!
ReplyDeleteI have learned to enjoy and relax. Quilting helped me thru some ruff times.
ReplyDeletegreat giveaway. Thanks for the chance!
I learned to chill out a little more. That and; It's not a mistake but a creative opportunity.
ReplyDeleteThat's a fun pattern :) I've learned that even though I can't draw, I am a creative person!
ReplyDeleteI would say the most important thing I have learned is to measure accurately and have scant 1/4 inch seams.....and not sweat the little imperfections, no one but me ever notices them.
ReplyDeleteThe most important thing I've learned in quilting is to have fun with it, and not be so critical of myself & my sewing. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteTaking a quilting class was the most important decisiou I ever made. I am so glad I learned how to make a quilt and then actually made the quilt myself. There are so many tutorials and creative designers that quilting has become my new hobby.

Thanks for the great givaway! I have learned that the most important thing is to work slowly :)
ReplyDeleteMeasure twice, cut once!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for this lovely giveaway, I have learn to enjoy every step of making a quilt,
ReplyDeleteThanks for participating in the blog hop and giveaway. I love the quilt at the beginning of this post. I especially like consistent yet scrappy feel of it, with not every block having the same colors and fabrics in the same place. It's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI've learned that it's good to take chances. Quilting is not life-and-death. If the block doesn't work out it's a piece or two of fabric that I've lost, not something more important.
Thanks for the giveaway! I've learned to just have fun & not worry about those little errors that only you seem to find!
ReplyDeletemeasure twice!Thank you for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteMy absolute most important thing I've learned in quilting is to measure that one-quarter inch seam CORRECTLY and ACCURATELY ALL THE TIME! It makes so much of a difference. Whew!~
ReplyDeleteThe most important thing I've learned in quilting.. to enjoy it, and make what you want. You don't have to jump on every trend that comes along, just be true to yourself. :) Also--it's very relaxing. Thanks for the chance to win. xo
ReplyDeleteP.S. I'm a new follower, nice to *meet* you!
The most important thing I have learned while quilting is patience and that a seam ripper is a wonderful friend to have.
ReplyDeleteI've learned how important pressing is! Fortunately, I love to have fabric ironed and crisp!
ReplyDeleteI have learned to be as accurate as possible in my cutting and sewing it makes things go together so much easier.
ReplyDeleteThe most important thing I've learned with quilting...is to just have fun with it!
ReplyDeleteThere is no right or wrong way to do it. Use whatever way works best for you :)
ReplyDeletePrecision, and have the time to do so. In a hurry? Better look first and cut and sew second. I've ripped up too many projects just because it needed to get done in a hurry: All the seams went wrong on my last project....
ReplyDeleteMeasure twice cut once - thank you!
ReplyDeletePressing without steam and pressing straight up/down is important. You can cut and sew correctly and have bad pressing warp the block out of shape.
ReplyDeletepatience, patience, and more patience!!!
ReplyDeleteperfect matching seams - press opposite directions and pin.
ReplyDeletePatience!
ReplyDeletethanks for the opportunity to win.
quilting has taught me not to judge a person by there cover. debbie73521@yahoo.com
